Gentle yoga is ideal for students who need to take their yoga practice at a slower pace. Although this class is gentle, it is not a chair class and students should be able to get up and down to the floor with or without assistance. Students will receive a step-by-step introduction to yoga postures and props including the wall, blocks, blankets, bolsters and straps will be heavily utilized. Questions are encouraged to ensure students understand the instructions and are able to practice the poses to their capacity. Every class includes conscious breathing exercises and ends with deep relaxation. This is a non-heated class. Please bring your own yoga mat and water however both are available at the studio for no charge.
